Welcome to The Jungle at Quex!
based in the beautiful surroundings of Quex Park. We’ve been a much-loved part of the community for years, and in 2021 we were refurbished into the Jungle you know today – a safe, fun, and exciting soft play centre for children to explore, laugh, and celebrate special occasions.
Whether it’s a fun day out, a birthday party, or one of our special themed events, The Jungle is the perfect place for children to enjoy and families to relax.
Our Play areas
We’ve designed The Jungle, so every age group has their own safe and exciting space to play:
Baby Area (0–1 year)
A cosy, designated zone located to the right of the main play frame.
Little Lions (1–4 years)
A special area just for toddlers, with direct access to the toddler frame for safe and adventurous play.
Footy Fans (all ages)
A 28m² football-themed pitch where kids can burn off energy and enjoy a kickabout (please bring your own football).
Main Frame (4–12 years)
Packed with slides, tunnels, and climbing challenges for bigger kids.

We’re proud to offer a range of party rooms and areas to make celebrations extra special:
The Jungle Party Room
A fun and themed space, bringing the jungle to life for little ones to explore!
The Under the Sea Party Room
a magical underwater-themed space.
The Sensory Den
A calm, relaxing party option with low-level sensory lighting, rockers, and beanbags perfect for those who prefer a calmer environment. Suitable for up to 8 children.
Footy Fans Party Space
Located on the main floor, perfect for football-mad kids (not a private room).
Little Lions Party Area
Also on the main floor, designed for children aged 1–4 years with direct access to the toddler frame (not a private room).
From small celebrations to parties of up to 125 guests, we’ve got you covered – and we offer catering options to make things even easier.
We also host exclusive hire events, including adult parties. For over-18s, we’re licensed to serve alcohol and play music until 9:30pm (with a later licence coming soon!).
Rules of Play
Guests who continually break these rules may be asked to leave.
At The Jungle, safety comes first. By entering, you agree to follow our Rules of Play and listen to staff instructions:
Children must always be supervised by an adult.
Sessions are timed – please leave promptly at the end of your play time.
Socks must be worn at all times.
Suitable clothing should be worn (leggings/trousers and long sleeves recommended).
Please remove jewellery, scarves, belts, watches before play, and please make sure you do not have any lighters in your pockets that can easily fall out.
Slides: one at a time, feet first, no climbing up.
Unwell children should not use the play areas.
Only food and drink purchased in The Jungle may be consumed.
Please report any accidents or damage to a staff member.
Party bookings require a £50 non-refundable deposit. Final numbers must be confirmed 48 hours before your party.

What ages can play at The Jungle?
Baby Area: 0–1 year

Do babies and adults need to pay?
Yes. Babies (non-walkers) are charged £1.50, and adults also pay £1.50, as everyone counts toward our capacity.
Can I bring my own food?
No. Only food and drink purchased in our café may be consumed on-site.
Do you cater for allergies?
Yes – please speak to a member of our café team when ordering.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes – we recommend booking online, as we often reach capacity. Walk-ins are welcome if spaces are available.
